The successful candidate will have a specialization in philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, and/or aesthetics. Our department is committed to teaching in multiple philosophical traditions, spanning European and non-European philosophy. Therefore, we also seek candidates who have teaching competence in one or more of the following: Indian philosophy, Chinese philosophy, Africana philosophy, Native American and Indigenous philosophy broadly construed.
