[News] Initiative for Underrepresented Philosophers UPSalon

Dear all, after a productive first meeting of the semester, we would like to plan our next "Stammtisch" (= regular get together) for December! To determine a date that works for all who are interested and could previously not make it due to scheduling issues, we kindly ask you to fill out this Termino. [1] This time, we want to meet at Café Weidinger [2] to first exchange experiences & discuss our future activities, and then play a round of Billard! UPSalon are a group of students, doctoral and post-doctoral researchers; the initiative aims at creating a space and community in Vienna where underrepresented philosophers - such as women, trans, inter and non-binary persons, BIPOC, socioeconomically disadvantaged people, queer people, and people with disabilities - can connect on a regular basis.
