The SSC Philosophy has asked whether we could make an estimate of the
people planning to register on the FÖP in the next two dates.
If you are in that situtation, please provide that information using the
following doodle form. You can only click one option. This information
will help the SSC to try accomodating all possible participants.
If you could pre-register soon, thus, it would be very helpful. Please
do so if you have trust you can be able to register timely.

The faculty public presentation (FöP) is the first mandatory step for
all DSPL43 doctoral candidates in the entry phase, following admission
to the doctoral programme. It is a prerequisite for the official
approval of the dissertation topic and for concluding the doctoral
thesis agreement. The FöP must be completed within the first year of
study.
For the winter semester 2025/26, four presentation dates with four slots
each are scheduled:
3 December 2025 – Application deadline: 12 November 2025, 12:00 noon
14 January 2026 – Application deadline: 17 December 2025, 12:00 noon
Please submit your complete application on time and as early as possible
via the SSC Servicedesk.
Due to the high number of applications, preferred presentation dates
cannot be guaranteed.

Structure of the FöP:
Presentation (max. 10 minutes)
Discussion with the doctoral advisory board (approx. 20 minutes)
Announcement of the result following the non-public deliberation of the
board
Networking and exchange
The FöP is a faculty public event, and interested persons are warmly
invited to attend.
