*Pragmatic Academic Event Graduate Applications and Research Proposals* Dear Students, We are organizing a workshop for Doctoral and Master Students on Graduate Applications and Research Proposals as part of the Pragmatic Academic Event series of the Vienna Doctoral School of Philosophy. The aim of this workshop is to help students who are interested in pursuing their PhD in Philosophy and those applying for funded positions with preparing their applications. Our panellists, Prof. Dr. Paulina Sliwa and Prof. Dr. Hans Bernhard Schmid, will be sharing their experiences and strategies for writing research proposals and preparing and evaluating graduate applications in general. We will focus on issues such as how to write a good research proposal, how to prepare your graduate application, how such proposals and applications are evaluated, and so on.
